For Policy Makers

KFAS offers workshops and training missions for policymakers looking to expand their skills and share experiences in Kuwait and abroad. We aim to advance evidence-based public policy-making and evaluation and the promotion of quality scientific research, as well as enhance the ecosystem for collaborative research and innovation here in Kuwait.

Development of Kuwait Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) Model

KFAS and Kuwait Public Policy Center (KPPC) have commissioned the OIES to develop a Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model that takes into account the local political economy. The model seeks to transit relevant knowledge to Kuwaiti stakeholders and policy makers to inform their policy-making process and conduct policy assessment on the impact of: energy pricing reform, tax reform, and competition reform.
